This is a simple guide to help you using your Powershift Hub. Make the most of Classified Powershift, a wireless shifting technology that allows you to shift gears instantly and under full load. Your hub has already been installed on your bike, but if you require more assistance you can check our 'Classified Explained' playlist on YouTube.
1. How to use Powershift
Hop on your bike and actuate a shift whilst riding at low speed.

| Fig. 2 Briefly push the ring shifter up or down to wake it up. Move the bike to wake up the thru axle. Now push the shift button up or down again. You should notice a shift. Great! The system works! |

2. How to check battery level
To check battery status perform one of the
following actions:

| Fig. 2 Briefly push the ring shifter up or down. | |
| Fig. 3 Remove the thru axle cap. | |

Fig. 4 Press and hold the button on the smart thru axle for less than 2 seconds. PLEASE NOTE: Use a screwdriver to press the button. |
Observe the color of the LED on the smart thru axle. Alternatively you can check the battery levels in the Classified App or on your head unit.
Green: at least 25% charge
Red/blinking red: please charge
3. How to charge Powershift
Fig. 1 Remove the thru axle from the bike. Open the battery cover on the thru axle to reveal the USB charging point. Charge with the supplied cable and close the battery cover again.
Fig. 2 Loosen the torx-screws, turn the unit anit-clockwise and remove. Loosen the torx-screw and pull the battery compartment out. Install new CR1632 battery. Fig. 3 Insert the pogo connector in the opening of the ring shifter. Connect the USB charger to the power mains. The LED will blink green while charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will remain steady green.
