Chain sizing

Choosing the right chain length for your Classified setup is crucial for smooth shifting and optimum performance. Here’s a quick guide:

1. Wrap your chain around the chainring and the largest sprocket
2. Bypass the derailleur
   • • Shimano derailleurs: add 5 to 6 chain links (+ chain lock) to the overlap for correct sizing
     • Sram derailleurs: add 4 to 5 chain links (+ chain lock) to the overlap for correct sizing
       
       
       
       
3. Use a chain tool to shorten the chain to the determined length. Ensure that the chain has the correct chain link or connecting Pin for the installation.

Remember that it’s always better to have a slightly longer chain than too short. You can always shorten it later if necessary.
