Follow the steps below to pair the Classified Smart Thru-Axle with the TRP Bar-end Unit.
1. Prepare the Smart Thru-Axle: Remove the bayonet cap from the Classified Smart Thru-Axle to access the function button.
2. Put the Bar-end Unit in pairing mode: Press and hold the function button on the TRP Bar-end Unit for 7 seconds, until the green LED begins blinking slowly.
3. Put the Smart Thru-Axle in pairing mode: Using a small screwdriver or Allen wrench, press and hold the function button on the Smart Thru-Axle for 5 seconds, until the green LED turns on.
4. Pairing: The system will pair automatically. Successful pairing is indicated by a quick-flashing green LED on the Bar-end Unit.
5. Confirm pairing: Press either button on the left-hand brake/shifter. If pairing was successful, the green LED on the Smart Thru-Axle will flash with each button press.
6. If pairing is unsuccessful: Clear previous pairings on the Smart Thru-Axle:
- Press and hold the function button for 30 seconds until the LED turns red.
- Repeat the pairing procedure from Step 2.
