Are Classified wheelsets and POWERSHIFT hubs compatible with any frame?

Our POWERSHIFT system can be installed on any frame that meets the specifications below. No frame or dropout modifications are required to install a Classified wheel or POWERSHIFT system.

For road and gravel applications using the 142 mm POWERSHIFT hub, the frame must have a rear hub width of 142 mm and a front hub width of 100 mm. The thru-axle diameter must be 12 mm at both the front and rear. The system is compatible with post-mount and flat-mount disc brakes of all sizes and is not compatible with rim brakes. For road and gravel setups, the minimum front chainring size is 40T. For e-bike applications, the maximum cassette size is 11–34; 11–40 cassettes are not compatible with e-bikes.

For MTB applications using the 148 mm POWERSHIFT Boost hub, the frame must have a rear hub width of 148 mm and a front hub width of 110 mm. The thru-axle diameter must be 12 mm at the rear and 15 mm at the front. The system is compatible with post-mount and flat-mount disc brakes of all sizes and is not compatible with rim brakes. For MTB setups, the minimum front chainring size is 30T.
