In general, the handlebar unit and ringshifter are paired when you receive your bike. If, at some point, the devices become unpaired, you can restore pairing by following the pairing instructions:
- Pairing the handlebar unit with the thru axle
- Pairing the ring shifter with the thru axle
- Pairing the smart thru-axle to SHIMANO Di2 12-speed
- Pairing the smart thru-axle to SHIMANO Di2 11-speed
