When your Classified Powershift hub does not shift anymore, there is a number of possible reasons for this. Please check the possibilities below before contacting Classified support.

Check if the LED's of the handlebar unit lights up when pushing the handle bar unit button. Check the battery status of the dropbar handlebar unit. 1. replace the battery (and check if the handlebar unit is working by pushing the handlebar unit button). |
2. Does the LED of the thru axle light up when pushing the button? | Charge the thru axle |
Check if the LED's of the thru axle lights up when pushing the button: Check the battery status of the smart thru axle 1. If the thru axle LED lights up red or does not light up at all, charge the thru axle. If the thru axle does not charge, contact Classified support. |
3. If step 1 and 2 are performed, and the batteries of the handle bar unit and thru axle are charged, check the pairing between the handle bar unit and the thru axle. | Update the firmware + pair the handlebar unit and the thru axle. |
1. Update to the newest firmware with Classified App first. Pairing the handle bar unit with the thru axle Pairing the ring shifter with the thru axle 3. In case you are using a ringshifter, make sure that there is at least 4mm of free space on the left and right side of the ringshifter to allow free movement of the lever. Incorrect placement of the ringshifter can cause the lever to get stuck in the upper position, which clears the pairing with the thru axle. |

1. The shifter device can only have one BLE connection at a time. Meaning it is either connected to the mobile app or the thru axle. 2. Close the app completely OR on your smartphone, go to your bluetooth settings and disconnect. 3. Shifting is possible again. |
